Mammal Extinction

"One in four mammals is threatened with extinction, we could see thousands of species die out in our lifetime." 

Every where around the world people think it's okay to treat the earth however they want. As humans we cut down trees, pollute water, release chemicals into the air and let our trash go where ever we please. This is a huge issue for the animals who also live on earth though. There are so many animals going extinct as a result of our careless actions and it is not okay. One out of Four mammals are threatened by extinction and are facing the end more and more rapidly every day. Extinction is a normal part of nature but the rate that animals are dying off currently is more extreme than it has ever been before and the effects will be horrible for everyone. Animals all effect each other in nature as well as in the food chain. With the unnatural imbalance that we are facing they will be completely thrown off, prey that will go extinct will cause predators to find a new source of food. When this becomes too impossible, then they will then start to die off as well. We will be losing a great deal of beauty and life with all the wonder that these variety of unique animals bring to our world. We need to be more aware and careful of how we treat the land, water, and air that we live in, because there are other lives being effected other than our own. Animals have no say in the choices we make, yet they are the ones who are facing extinction because of our irresponsible choices. Things need to change before we lose anymore wonderful creatures.
