Herbicides

We all know that herbicides are used in plants to help the growth and production of plants, and produce that we grow in gardens, fields, and farms around the world. We do not however, always recognize that herbicides are very toxic and the carcinogenticity levels are extremely high. This time of chemical can cause such horrible long term effects which we don't always notice because it makes plants so much better short term. They grow faster, greener, fresher but the end result in the long run can be deathly. Parkinson's disease for example is a health issue caused by herbicides. As you can see above, in the picture shown, it does more than just harm us humans. The plants that were once so fresh and green end up dead and unhealthy, the ground cracked and dry. Some health effects of herbicides are skin rashes that can eventually lead to death. There is a small rise in cancer risk due to the exposure of these herbicides.  The relationship between herbicides and cancer are unclear which is unfortunate and makes it hard to understand, but we do know that herbicides cause an increase in ones risk of breast cancer. One issue is that herbicide manufacturers make false claims about their product in order to get business which is not okay for them to do. Again, the irresponsibility of humans is one of the main reasons why this type of pollution exists. If we would be smarter about our decisions made in corporate and personal levels then we could prevent most of this from happening. We are killing our earth but were harming animals to the point of extinction and in a lot of cases we are killing ourselves as well. We should put an end to the stupid choices that we make and work together to help make a more beautiful, healthy, and safe world to live in.
